President’s Message:

Greetings, Fellow IACA Members:

It's hard to believe that 2026 is winding down with 2027 close at hand. The year has been a very active and productive one for IACA and will continue into next year, especially with the establishment of The Columbus Legacy Grant Program.

The project re-establishes the legacy of Columbus in the Richmond area, strengthening families, community partners, and local students through essential funding. 2026 saw an increase in new memberships for IACA, active socials, day trip excursions, and happy hour events throughout the year.

Sadly, we also experienced the loss of three dear friends and former Board members of IACA, Sandi Munari, Joe Betzala, and Bob Dandeneau. They are greatly missed. IACA finishes up the year with a Sunday afternoon gathering at Palermo Restaurant at Westchester Commons on November 15th and our annual Dolce social at St. Michael's Lakehouse on December 13th.

I want to express my deep thanks to my fellow Board members for their dedicated hard work throughout the year and to you, the IACA membership, for your support and interest in continuing our rich Italian heritage and culture. May you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Best Regards,

Rick Gentile
